new cargill plant increases rapeseed oil supply

cargill has opened a huge new rapeseed plant in western france, said to provide a new outlet for local farmers and bring a new source of rapeseed oil for the food and fuel industries. the plant, which is located in montoir, 5km from cargill’s sunflower plant in saint nazaire, will process up to 600,000 metric tones of rapeseed a year – most of which will be sourced locally. more
